Meet Dana Hooper - Realtor® Associate, Connie Barnes Real Estate Sales and Marketing Group

Dana has lived in the Sacramento area nearly all of her life and has resided in El Dorado Hills since 1994 where she raised her two daughters. She graduated from Sacramento State University of California with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and then pursued her Masters Degree in Public Administration. She worked in the legal field for 12 years during her education.

In 1997 Dana started FYI Services as a sole proprietor where she continued gainful employment while working from her home office to be at home to raise her children. FYI Services provides background investigations to employers in the health care, education and transportation industries. During this time, Dana was actively involved as a member in the El Dorado Hills and Folsom Chambers of Commerce where she made and has maintained many local business contacts and friendships.

Dana is driven, organized, efficient, outgoing and very active. These attributes are not only important to others with whom she has business and personal relationships, but are of paramount importance to Dana. You should see her on the soccer field.

Dana is now embarking on a career in real estate. She is uniquely personable when interacting with buyers, sellers, lenders and mortgage brokers. She has the skill and motivation to navigate the competitive and complex real estate market to facilitate any closing on behalf of her clients.

The standard joke is there's nothing wrong with a new agent that a little experience won't fix. But that's not to say that freshly licensed agents aren't valuable. Much depends on whether they have access to competent mentors like Connie and the level of their training. Newer agents tend to have more time to concentrate on you. Some agents with 20 years of experience repeat their first year over and over. Other 20-year agents learn something new every year.
